I started 4Bit after spending more than 24 years delivering technology inside real organisations across government, large enterprise, startups, and modern workplaces where systems have to work under pressure, not just look good in a proposal.
Over that time, I repeatedly saw the same problem play out, especially in small and growing businesses: they were misrepresented, oversold, and over-engineered. Requirements were misunderstood or ignored, and the result was technology that was expensive, complex, and poorly aligned to how the business actually operated.
4Bit exists to fix that.
Throughout my career I have been accountable for the delivery of complex, ICT-enabled projects where outcomes, risk, and usability mattered. That experience shapes how I work today: clear conversations up front, pragmatic design, and solutions that fit the business rather than forcing the business to fit the technology.

I do not design for scale you will never need. Solutions are scoped to what the business genuinely needs today, with a sensible path to grow tomorrow.
Clear conversations up front
I spend time understanding how the business actually operates before recommending anything. Misunderstood requirements are where most technology projects go wrong.
No lock-in
I do not take referral fees or commissions from vendors, and I do not push clients into platforms or contracts they do not need.
Accountable for outcomes
I have spent 24 years being accountable for delivery, not just advice. That shapes how I scope work, manage risk, and communicate when things need to change.
